Collagen for Healthy, Radiant Skin

-       Elasticity: collagen increase skin elasticity. Less elasticity leads to fine lines and wrinkles.

 -       Wound healing: collagen repairs damaged skin. This is helpful with hyperpigmentation, a darkening of the skin that occurs when recovering from acne and eczema. Hyperpigmentation can take longer to heal than the acne or eczema itself. Collagen can speed that healing.

 -       Sources of collagen include bone broth as well as collagen supplements. Please note that collagen must come from an animal source, either land or marine. There is no such thing as vegan collagen. Make sure to purchase collagen that is hydrolyzed or in the peptide form, which increases the absorption. Type I and III collagen are best for skin elasticity, hydration, and wound healing.
